THE EVENT

Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year is celebrated worldwide every year. From countries all around Asia to Asian-American immigrants living in the states, celebrations and traditions have transcended borders and generations. The goal of this exhibition is to create a celebratory experience that welcomes the new and the old, the East and the West, and families all alike to welcome in the new year.

The Catalog

An event catalog was designed inspired by the red envelopes given out during Lunar New Year. The contents of the catalog follow the same timeline as New Years celebrations from decorating the home to the Lantern Festival. Each page includes both English and Chinese Mandarin.
